With its complementing Grants and Capacity-Building Programmes operating on a dual-axis, the project is set to provide funding for over 200 projects by March 2025 through 14 open calls in four different need-based grant categories.

INTER-CITY NETWORKING GRANTS

CultureCIVIC announced its first open call for its Inter-City Networking Grants. Inter-city Networking Grants focus on the development of inter-city networks and dialogue between different actors beyond the urban and cultural centres of Ankara, İstanbul, and İzmir. These grants foster decentralised exchange and network-building throughout Turkey. The project endeavours to reach beyond major hubs to institutions from all corners of Turkey and started accepting applications on 30 August 2021.

These grants foster decentralised exchange and network-building throughout Turkey. The aim of these grants is the implementation of large-scale, inter-city projects involving cultural actors from different cities – thus, only one of these cities can be designated as Ankara, İstanbul, or İzmir to ensure geographical inclusion and diversity.

The application period started on Monday, 30 August 2021 and ends on Monday, 25 October 2021 at 18.00. Applications will be made through the Grant Application Portal and detailed information on grant requirements is available in the application guideline.
